VLSI backend
Physical design Engineer, PNR, STA, PV, Synthesis, DFT and Analog engineers who implement the logical design into actual hardware.
Physical Design Engineer
- Solid understanding of VLSI design concepts, digital design principles, and semiconductor process technologies.
- Proficiency in using industry-standard EDA tools such as Synopsys ICC, Cadence Innovus, and Mentor Graphics Calibre.
- Experience in scripting languages such as TCL, Perl, or Python for design automation and flow development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with low power design techniques, EM/IR analysis, and physical design for advanced technology nodes is a plus.
DFT Engineers
- Strong understanding of digital design fundamentals, DFT concepts, and ATPG/BIST techniques.
- Proficiency in using industry-standard EDA tools such as Synopsys DFTMAX, Mentor Tessent, or Cadence Encounter Test.
- Knowledge of scan compression techniques, memory BIST, and JTAG standards.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as TCL, Perl, or Python for design automation and flow development.
STA Engineer
- Work on timing exceptions, constraints development, and ECO (Engineering Change Order) implementation to resolve timing violations.
- Proficiency in using industry-standard EDA tools such as Synopsys PrimeTime, Cadence Tempus, or Mentor Graphics Calibre.
- Familiarity with scripting languages for automation of timing analysis and methodology development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Analog Layout Engineer
- Proficiency in using layout tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Mentor Graphics Calibre, and industry-standard verification tools.
- Familiarity with deep sub-micron CMOS processes and their impact on analog layout design.
- Strong understanding of layout techniques for matching, shielding, isolation, and reliability in analog/mixed-signal designs.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as SKILL, Python, or TCL for design automation and flow development.
Trained & Fresher Candidates
- Familiarity with VLSI design concepts, digital design principles, and semiconductor process technologies.
- Experience with industry-standard EDA tools and methodologies for VLSI design, verification, or physical design.
- Participate in VLSI design, verification, physical design, or DFT activities based on your area of interest and expertise.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of VLSI design methodologies and flows under the guidance of senior team members.
Physical Verification Engineer
- Perform layout vs. schematic checks (LVS), design rule checks (DRC), and electrical rule checks (ERC) using industry-standard physical verification tools.
- Analyze and debug physical verification violations, and work with the design and layout teams to resolve issues and ensure design correctness.
- Proficiency in using industry-standard EDA tools such as Mentor Graphics Calibre, Synopsys ICV, or Cadence Assura for physical verification.
- Familiarity with scripting languages
Backend Lead
- 7+ year of Extensive experience in backend physical design, including floorplanning, power planning, clock tree synthesis, placement, routing, and physical verification.
- Lead a team of physical design engineers in the implementation of ASIC/SoC designs from RTL to GDSII, including floorplanning, power planning, clock tree synthesis, placement, routing, and physical verification.
- Define and drive the physical design methodology, flow, and best practices to achieve timing, area, power, and manufacturability targets.
- Collaborate with the RTL design, synthesis, and DFT teams to ensure seamless integration and closure of the backend design flow.
- Perform and oversee power integrity analysis, signal integrity analysis, and timing closure for the designs.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of physical design methodologies, flows, and automation to enhance design efficiency and quality.
VLSI frontend
Frontend design focuses on the logical design of integrated circuits, including tasks such as architecture design, RTL coding, functional verification, and synthesis.
Design Verification Engineers
Architect and implement SystemVerilog/UVM-based test benches for verifying complex digital designs.
Develop and execute verification test plans, and analyze and debug failures to drive functional coverage closure.
Proficiency in SystemVerilog and experience with UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) for testbench development.
Familiarity with industry-standard EDA tools for simulation and verification, such as Questa, VCS, or NCSim.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
RTL Engineers
- Design, implement, and optimize RTL code for digital modules and subsystems using Verilog and/or VHDL.
- Proficiency in Verilog and/or VHDL for RTL design and verification.
- Familiarity with industry-standard EDA tools for synthesis, simulation, and debugging, such as Synopsys Design Compiler, VCS, or ModelSim.
- Perform RTL coding for functionality, performance, and power optimization while adhering to design constraints and guidelines.
- Work on linting, CDC (Clock Domain Crossing) analysis, and synthesis constraints to ensure high-quality RTL code.
- Contribute to the verification and debugging of RTL code through simulation and debugging tools.
Std. Cell/ Layout Engineers
- Collaborate with the physical design and technology teams to develop and optimize standard cell library architectures and layouts.
- Proficiency in using industry-standard EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys IC Compiler, or Mentor Graphics Calibre for standard cell/layout design and verification.
- Design and implement standard cell circuits and custom layout modules for analog and digital standard cells.
- Work on cell characterization, timing constraints, and power grid design to ensure optimal performance and power efficiency.
FPGA Design Engineer
- Design and implement FPGA firmware using HDL (Hardware Description Language) such as Verilog or VHDL.
- Perform synthesis, place and route, and timing closure for FPGA designs using industry-standard tools.
- Experience with FPGA synthesis and implementation tools such as Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, or Lattice Diamond.
- Familiarity with FPGA verification methodologies, simulation tools, and hardware debugging techniques.
- Develop and execute FPGA verification plans, including simulation, hardware testing, and debugging.
